Short version: some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what I recommend.
What that means
An affiliate link is a special link that tells a store or service you came from my site. If you make a purchase or sign up after clicking it, I may be paid a commission. The price you pay stays the same.
How I handle it
I recommend things I have tried myself, and I say what I actually tested. A commission is never the reason something makes the list, and I will tell you when something did not work for me, even if it pays.
When a post contains affiliate links, I will say so on that post, near the top and before the links, so you do not have to hunt for it. This page is the general notice; the note on the post is the specific one.
What I do not do
I do not take payment for a positive review. If a company sends me a product or pays for something, I will say that too.
Amazon and similar programs
If I join a program like the Amazon Associates program, the required statement will appear here and on the posts that use it.
